SRSS Friend of the Milky Way Award

Save Roane Starry Skies is developing an award to be presented to area businesses that use full-cutoff (FCO) lighting; local merchants who sell FCO fixtures; and educators and others who promote the preservation of our dark, starry skies and the conservation of our natural resources and tax dollars. The award medallion was designed by area artist and night-sky enthusiast Christine Graham.
